Plaintiff suffered paralysis, a rotator cuff tear, ruptured bladder and broken bones as a result of the motor-vehicle accident. His wife suffered neck and back pain. The case settled for $10.5 million at mediation.

Plaintiff was walking on a sidewalk near a construction site. A truck for the construction company drove onto the sidewalk and failed to look out for pedestrians, and hit the Plaintiff. Plaintiff had seven broken bones and severe injuries to her left arm and shoulder. Plaintiff underwent several surgeries. Plaintiff won $2.1 million.

Plaintiff was working as a truck driver and lifted a large block of ice out of a truck when the ice slipped. Plaintiff attempted to grab the ice, felt sharp pain, and fell. He sustained injuries to his back. Plaintiff won $1,000,000.

Defendant tractor-trailer driver rear-ended the Plaintiff’s truck after the Plaintiff parked it on the right shoulder of Interstate 95. Plaintiff sustained a concussion and injured his neck, back, knees, shoulders, wrists, and scalp. He underwent surgery. The case settled for $825,000.

Plaintiff was paralyzed and had a spinal cyst prior. Two decades later, he was driving a van modified for use by a partially paralyzed driver when he was rear-ended and struck his head on the steering wheel. Following the second motor-vehicle accident, he had neck, left shoulder, left elbow, and head pain. He had a cyst that became symptomatic and enlarged, causing pain, numbness, and weakness. Plaintiff underwent surgery to add a shunt placement. Case settled for of $650,000.

Plaintiff was killed when a passenger in a motor vehicle accident. The Estate sued the restaurant and the driver of the vehicle. There was insufficient insurance coverage, but counsel was able to obtain a settlement of $550,000.

The Plaintiff, a 67-year-old woman, was awarded in excess of $365,000 after being struck by an unsecured metal gate on Clinton Avenue in Bridgeport that was blown open by heavy winds, knocking her unconscious. She was transported to the hospital by ambulance and treated for serious head and brain injuries, leaving her permanently disabled with significant memory deficiencies and severe anxiety.

Charles Camacho v. City of Bridgeport
The Plaintiff, a 39-year-old man, was awarded $295,000 in a special arbitration against the City of Bridgeport after being thrown around the inside of a city bus when it was struck by a car. He underwent three abdominal surgeries and is left with permanent back and spinal disabilities, forcing him to withdraw from his technical school program and abandon his dream of becoming an auto mechanic.

Kirby Keene v. Waste Management Co.
The Plaintiff, a 38-year-old man, reached a $590,000 settlement with his employer after suffering serious injuries on the job. While working on a garbage truck, the driver operated too close to the side of the street and struck a utility pole, crushing the Plaintiff's arm and leaving him unable to work.

Nancy Martino v. Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc.
The Plaintiff, a 46-year-old waitress at the Milford Cracker Barrel, was awarded $900,000 via settlement after falling in the restaurant's kitchen. While carrying a stack of dishes, she tripped over broken floor tiles that had not been maintained to a functional standard, suffering serious back and spinal injuries that left her wheelchair-bound.

Geneese Edwards v. National Cola Company
The Plaintiff, a 62-year-old woman, was awarded $5.5 million after being hit by a Coca-Cola delivery vehicle on the sidewalk on Harral Avenue in Bridgeport. While waiting on the sidewalk, she was struck once as the truck backed up and then again as it pulled forward, sustaining multiple broken bones and permanent disability.

Anthony Sanzo v. Wood Chuck Chipper LLC
The Plaintiff, a 43-year-old man, was awarded $900,000 in a products liability suit after losing two fingers in a wood chipper accident. While feeding branches into the machine, his glove became entangled and his hand was pulled into the blades; a coworker shut off the machine before further injury occurred. His goal in filing the lawsuit was to force manufacturers to build safer machines. The verdict was reached after a four-day trial in Bridgeport Superior Court.

Michelle Pryde v. Lester Silverstone
The Plaintiff, a 28-year-old woman, was awarded $1.5 million after being struck by a vehicle while crossing Main Street in Bridgeport. The Defendant failed to yield the right of way, ran over her feet, and threw her over the hood of the vehicle, leaving her with regional sympathetic dystrophy. The jury deliberated for an hour and a half before returning the verdict.
